WOODnLITE Doors and Sidelites (“WOODnLITE”) warrants that each door and sidelite rail and header, at the time of shipment from WOODnLITE, is of good material and workmanship and free from defects for ordinary recommended use. The WOODnLITE limited warranty applies to new door and sidelite rails and headers. The warranty period for specific hardware and components is covered under its manufacturer’s standard warranty.

For door and sidelite rails used only in an interior application, this warranty is valid for three years after the date of the invoice from WOODnLITE. This warranty applies only to door and sidelite rails that are finished and hung under normal conditions and per industry-recommended installation.

This warranty will be void if the following industry standards are not followed:

1. 1. Door and sidelite rails and headers installed in an interior application and not exposed to the weather.
2. 2. Any modifications, changes, or unauthorized uses of the product.
3. 3. Any defects caused by the alteration of the product.
4. 4. Prior to installation, door and sidelite rails were stored in a clean dry room. All faces and edges were stained or sealed within ten (10) days of delivery.
5. 5. Guideline of the current AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturer Association) for the installation of doors, windows, and finishing.

WOODnLITE will replace or repair, at its discretion, any of its products found to be defective in quality of material or workmanship, provided notice is given within five (5) days from the date of the invoice. All visible defects must be reported in the manner described before the product or products are originally installed. WOODnLITE may choose, at its discretion, to refund the original purchase price of a product if replacement or repair is not reasonably possible.

WOODnLITE shall exclude all costs of labor, delivery, installation, or finishing of the replacement or original product or for any cost relating to the replacement of the product, all of which shall be the sole responsibility of the person making the warranty claim. This warranty is applicable only to products that are installed in the USA.

This limited warranty does not extend to a. Product that is altered or abused or installed not in accordance with applicable building codes. b. Products installed in an exterior entry. c. Improper or incomplete finishing of all surfaces or failure to provide reasonable maintenance.

This Warranty is exclusive and excludes product failure caused by normal weathering, scratching, fading, warp of ¼” or less, atmospheric contaminants (e.g., chemical fumes, pollution), negligence, abuse, accident, shipping, improper use or installation, fire, flood, exposure to corrosive elements, or acts of God or other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship.

Claims under this Limited Warranty EXTEND ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF PRODUCTS and must be made in writing within the period of this warranty and before the beginning of any repair work to: Warranty Services, WOODnLITE door and sidelite, 9495 San Fernando Rd., CA 91352. Claims must detail the date and location of purchase, the nature of the problem, and the name, address, and telephone number of the person making the claim.

WOODnLITE reserves the right and must be given at least a thirty (30) day opportunity to have any product that is the subject of a warranty claim field inspected by a WOODnLITE representative.
